The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. We loved the rooms, the breakfast (plentiful and great variety), having a dip in the swimming pool, and our 11-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed seeing bunnies and cats on the premises. In the early afternoon, you could help yourself to a refreshing herbal drink at Reception. The place has a lot of charm to it, I highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay in Tihany! The host was so kind when we met for the keys and let us into the parking area. We even received a little welcome gift to enjoy. The property was located a short walk down the hill from the main street so not crowded or noisy. The room was very cute and had just what we needed for a night. Would stay again!

Also, the area is very quiet, close to the center. The host is very kind and attentive to all your needs.

The property has very nice facilities with several seating areas for sitting and enjoying the view of the Balaton lake. The room and the bathroom were very clean and the bedding was comfortable. The staff were pleasant, helpful and very polite.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Balatoni Élmény - csopaki apartmanlakások 20 méterre a Balatontól is located in Csopak. We were utterly pleased that the unit comes with 2 bedrooms , with one toilet/bath and another toilet and a large living room with a functional kitchen. The conditions of the unit was in perfect condition , very well kept , clean and equipped with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay. It is located within a gated community so access is very private. There is also a parking lot that comes with the apartment. Lake Belaton is apparently the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe with a size of 600 square km. This is almost the size of Singapore. As we were there during the off peak season , there were little activities at the lake except some holiday makers and people fishing. But the tranquil environment is very therapeutic and brings peace to the mind. Excellent choice of accommodation which I would highly recommend

Boasting garden views, Castle house offers accommodation with balcony, around 1.3 km from Füred Camping Beach. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Property is better than the photos suggest in our opinion - pool is excellent and very clean Cosy, clean room with patio Monika is super friendly and very responsive to messages and questions Very easy walk to the centre Wifi good

Set 16 km from Tihany Abbey, Alsóörs Marina is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Alsóörs, featuring a garden, a bar and private parking. Location was excellent. We did not have breakfast.

33 km from Thermal Lake Hévíz in Badacsonyörs, Sipos Borház és Vendégház provides accommodation with access to a sauna and hot tub. This hotel was much nicer than we were expecting. The view from the olazreizling room of the lake was amazing! The condition of the property was very nice, with a nicely curated and maintained backyard area with a terrace overlooking the lake. The owners are also in the wine making business and the wine they sell is amazing. We were in Balaton for a wedding and the owners were flexible with us on sunday checkout due to the prior night being a late night for us.
