The food is generally amazing! We loved the rich and tasty breakfast and the lovely staff was always accomodating my husband's vegan lifestyle. Waking up in front of the sea every morning was one of the most amazing experiences. The both vibrating and relaxing town of Sámara is just a 5-10 minutes walk away at the beach, where you can play beach volleyball, go surfing, have a nice smoothie or delicious meal. At night you can also enjoy the beautiful terrace and tasty drinks and food at the hotel's restaurant. We were sad to leave this truly unique pearl at the beach and will surely be back in the future!

Situado en Tilarán, La Ceiba Tree Lodge cuenta con WiFi gratis, y sus huéspedes pueden disfrutar de un jardín, una terraza y un restaurante. The grounds of the lodge are fabulous. There is plenty to explore, with an orchid garden and the Ceiba Tree overlooking the property. The breakfast was really nicely done, with a fabulous set-up of the flowers hanging down from the roof of the place. Also overlooking the Lake Arenal, and a feeding station for birds. Fresh coffee brewed the original way at the table. We also got our laundry done by the hosts, which was really handy, great value and done with more care than dedicated businesses for it. We paid extra for the room with a terrace, and it was worth that for the view and sitting out.

We only stayed 1 night and enjoyed the experience. Room was bigger than any other we stayed in, in CR. Breakfast was good and staff were too.

Beach front and peaceful place. The breakfast was amazing. All the staff were very nice (Marjorie, Maureen, Flory and Elias) and best beach to connect and relax! 100% recommended!
