Walking trails up the slope amid the trees: birdsong and running water over ancient stone. Quiet, comfortable rooms with excellent amenities. A lovely region too. Would happily stay again. Kangaroos was lovely to wake up to, looking out into the hills. Thanks again for a lovely weekend getaway.

Located within 36 km of Ballarat Train Station and 24 km of The Convent Gallery Daylesford in Smeaton, New Horizons Farm Stay features accommodation with seating area. Amazing location and great hosts. The accommodation was clean and simple, with everything you could need provided. The hosts even took our daughter to feed the farm animals. Highly recommended and will definitely pop in to say hello again.

Everything was available in the spotless room . Milk in the fridge for coffee. Had forgotten to buy some. And a nespresso machine with pods was the highlight as far as amenities are concerned. Upon arriving seeing the kangaroos lazing away just metres in front of you is just beautiful!!!Waking up and seeing them even more special. Pamela who runs the cottage was available and easy to contact by phone. All questions asked. Very helpful. Strongly recommend.
