This accommodation felt like home. It was very clean, comfortable and big enough for a couple of days. The property is close to the train station and the main centre of activity. It was very quiet despite the location. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was good. This is a great budget place to stay in Aguas Calientes.

Everything. The room was big and so comfortable. The constant sound of the river nearby was so pleasant to lull one to sleep. And, on this note, I had the massage and the best sleep of my life. I'm very thankful for the staff who were warm and welcoming!

They start serving breakfast from 5 a.m. so it helps if you have an early time slot at Machupicchu. Among the various hotels we stayed during our visit to South America, Smaq Machupicchu was the only hotel where a “standard room” had a bathtub.
