Spacious comfortable room with separate entrance. Large bathroom with shower. Beautiful scenery if a little remote ( not a criticism, just something to be aware of) Walking opportunities straight from door. The weather wasn’t kind to us but we did get one morning when we were able to do the tea experience. The best part for me was the food - they prepared some wonderful gluten free Sri Lankan meals for me which was the best food I had in our 3 week trip. Dave is very engaging and we enjoyed our chats with him.

From the moment we arrived, the manager and housekeeper made us feel so welcome, always ready to help and offering great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was outstanding—we had a Sri Lankan breakfast, which was both delicious and generous in portion. It was the perfect start to our days in Kandy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully lit, offering a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The bathroom was also large, stocked with all necessary toiletries and fresh towels. Everything was spotlessly clean, making the entire stay feel luxurious, yet at an incredibly affordable price. One of the most thoughtful touches was that the housekeeper waited for us both nights we stayed, ensuring we were comfortable. The manager continuously checked in to make sure we had the best Sri Lankan experience, and we highly recommend following his suggestions to make the most of your time in Kandy.
