The family which runs this property are very good and humble. Owner was kind enough to pick us directly from bus stand to the Homestay. They served authentic Srilankan food which was very tasty. Royal cave temple and Dambulla stadium are quite near and we can get tuk tuk easily. Go to place to stay if you are visiting sigiriya and Dambulla.

Do not think that this is a chain hotel or that it looks large and bland. It is actually anything but. The staff are incredibly switched on to customer satisfaction: Tara the GM appeared twice at our table at different times to make sure we had perfection. Our room was large and deliciously cool. The bed was marshmallow comfortable. We relaxed by birdwatching at the lake ( plus recommend the guided birdwatching). Loved the huge pool, played petanque and loved the food. Best breakfast hoppers of our trip and we have sampled more than a few. We called this our big boutique hotel as when the tour groups leave each morning, we had it virtually to ourselves. It is a good base for Dambulla cave temple and Sigiriya. Am very impressed with Jetwing for eco-conscious policies and truly professional customer service.

Komara is excellent host.He helped us a lot to find the best transport around the Dambulla, and further on to Kandy. RGolden Rainbow is on the edge of jungle, 10 minutes walk from the Cave temple ticket office. And yes, monkeys are playing in the yard

Excellent hospitality provided by host and felt good and excellent staff and one of the best place to stay in Dambulla. Swimming pool was refreshing, and rooms were superb. Restaurants food was amazing, and breakfast was massive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for other travelers who are looking to stay in Dambulla.

The stay was perfect and the room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the reception to the helpers. The food was delicious we enjoyed both meals well. The staff in the restaurant was so friendly and helpful.

our rooms are arranged after we booked at the last minute. Robert was so nice that he accompanied us with a great smile and warm welcome. He is so nice to let us keep our luggage for extra time so we can visit the Sigiriya. The breakfast is so good and prepared early according to our concerns.
