Breakfast was lovely. And the view at the sea was very nice.

The traditional and modern Japan altogether with magnificent staff by their kindness The food was a great experience as well. We were lucky with japanese room 311with a superbe view on the water side and the private onsen was extremely relaxing.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we made a mistake with our travel. Highly recommended to stay here

Hotel Coral is not on Miyajima Island, but it is literally right next to the ferry to and from the island. We didn't expect much after reading some reviews complaining about how old the hotel is, but we were pleasantly surprised and loved our Double with Sea View. I was expecting a small double bed but was so happy to see it was a king size bed. I requested a high floor and received it and the panoramic view of Miyajima Island was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean with two sitting chairs and table by the window. The bathroom had all new fixtures and the soaking tub has heavenly each night. The Western bed was firm but comfortable. Hotel Coral was very generous with their complimentary amenities, the best selection of items in all the places we stayed in our 5 week trip to Japan. The amenities bar in the lobby was extensive and included items I've never seen offered for free including tea without caffeine (roobois), scented bath salts, olive oil based facial wash and moisturizer, candy, and a choice of additional types of pillows as available such as memory foam. It was also nice to have bottled water replenished daily, as well as new sets of yukata and towels. We opted for the eco cleaning and received a nice voucher to use in the restaurant or gift shop, but you can also opt for daily cleaning. The included breakfast held many choices and was replenished regularly. Housemade tofu, pillowy French toast rolls and ultra moist carrot cake were favorites. A variety of breads and croissants and more. The ferry to Miyajima is right across the street and the ease of using the ferry earlier in the morning or later in the day was key to avoiding the insane crowds that descend on the island to flock to the Itsukushima Torii gate.

- surprisingly spacious apartment (especially for Japanese standards) with separate bedroom and separate beds for all 4 guests, living room, toilet and shower room; as well as an additional small japanese-style room. - around 15m walk from a nearest JR station, so not too bad - wide array of amenities (coffee, cosmetics etc.)

10 out of 10. It's such a pretty location. After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

The room was incredibly clean and spacious. We arrived too early for check-in, but the lady in charge of housekeeping let us in our room anyway since it was already ready. The service was incredible. I got sick badly on our trip and needed antibiotics asap. Even though the hotel is unstaffed, there is a tablet via which you can contact someone. After sending a message via the tablet, the housekeeping lady was there in 5 min and drove me to the hospital. She also stayed throughout the doctor's visit with me to translate everything and make sure I was okay. I have never experienced such kindness in a hotel. Definitely recommend this when staying in Hiroshima! The location is also top!

The beds are super comfortable. The whole hotel is clean and in good condition and it is located right next to the peace park. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance and the staff is very nice and helpful
