Beautiful place and very comfortable. Would definitely come back.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Staff great. A little expensive compared to other hotels. Staff should have cleared pathway from car park to reception-really icy and dangerous in winter weather. Scottish lady on reception a credit to the hotel

The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but the rooms have been renovated. Breakfast had a sufficient selection, and the staff continuously replenished missing items.

Clean room with an awesome view over the mountains. Great location, Dyrhólaey cliffs and Reynisfjara Beach a short drive away. Breakfast has a lot of options, fresh vegetables and fruits, quite a variety of pastries. Staff was very helpful, special thanks to Marta and Sylwia!

The room was amazing and had great bathroom and shower. There are hot tubs and sauna available. Also, the location of this hotel is great and this place is just outside Vik but feels like in the middle of nowhere. The hotel has a nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice for everyone (loved that I could make waffles for breakfast!).

I saw the Northern Lights that night, very beautiful, and the hotel has a very good location, I was watching sunset on the bed, I stayed two nights. The breakfast is great

Location, cleanness, kindness. Even a pot of homemade jam and a spicy cheese were left for us in the fridge. Excellent!

This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.

Really lovely place with super kind lady at the reception and nice views! The rooms were comfy and very clean; the guesthouse is in a nice and quiet location just 20 minutes from Vík. For sure worth recommending!
