Super nice! Very cozy and comfortable guesthouse, well-located away from the busy cliff tourist area (but still within walking distance). Our room was spacious, and the bed quality was excellent. The guesthouse is quiet and located just 1 minute away from the beach in a charming garden. Food is available, and laundry service is provided. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back if we return to Varkala!

It is blissfully simple and contemporary and has everything anyone could ask for. It is in a quiet road yet easy walking distance to shops, the beach and a key pilgrimage temple with its temple elephant ! And only a few minutes I. A tuctuc to the busy and vibrant tourist centre and the other beaches. Lal was always available and always always cheerful and helpful - what an amazing host. I felt like I was warmly welcomed into his home. I also enjoyed meeting the other guests and we shared dinner together. Lal helped me with my decision about where to do day trips to and booked taxis for me!

Excellent Stay at Rams Guest House, Varkala I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rams Guest House in Varkala and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms are incredibly spacious and come with comfortable queen beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Nestled in a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a serene environment ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights is its prime location, just a short walk from the stunning Varkala Cliff, Black Beach, and Odayam. This makes it very convenient to explore the local attractions without the need for transportation. The guest house also provides ample car parking space, which is a great plus for those traveling by car. They offer homemade food at an extra charge, and I must say the Idli and Dosa are a must-try! The meals are healthy, cooked with minimal oil and spices, and exclusively use coconut oil for a truly authentic flavor. The use of well water for bathing added a refreshing touch to the experience. Overall, Rams Guest House offers excellent hospitality and comfort, making it a perfect place to stay when visiting Varkala. We truly enjoyed this place. We visited with our baby toddler on 2 years and the staff was simply amazing and so kind to him. They helped babysit when we were eating and in the pool the staff also played with him. This made our stay very relaxing. The rooms are clean and big and the view is breathtaking. We will definitely come back if possible.
